Description: This course is a great way for campers to design, create and script their own games in Roblox. They will learn the Roblox game development platform, its functions and key features as well as core concepts in game design, some light coding and much more!
Details:
- 12 Session Course: This Quest offers a total of (12) 1 hour sessions that can be scheduled at your convenience Monday through Friday 3-6PM or Saturday 10am-1pm.
- Game Design Fundamentals
- Roblox Studio Tools and Functions
- Basic Scripting with Lua
- Students will start with a game mechanic template and learn how to customize it and it their own game
- Students collaborate and discuss ideas and designs
- Students learn how to test and polish the game before they publish it
- Publish the game and let all your friends play it!
- Promote your game! Students will learn how to share and attract new players!
