SPRING BREAK CAMPS

(2 DAYS) MINI WARRIORS: ROBLOX – ADVENTURES IN GAME DESIGN

Date: Monday, March 17 & Tuesday March 18

Time: 9am – noon

Description: This course is a great way for our mini warriors ages 5-7 who are curious about games, their designs and mechanics. They will learn the fundamentals of the Roblox game development platform, its functions and key features as well as core concepts in game design as they play some popular Roblox games along with their fellow campers! It’s the perfect first step into a world of creativity, ingenuity, engineering, coding and fun!

• Campers get to play a variety of games while learning about the different styles, game mechanics, strategies and more
• Campers collaborate and discuss ideas and designs

(3 DAYS) MINI WARRIORS: GAME FEST!

Dates: Wednesday, March 19 through Friday March 21

Time: 12:30 – 3:30pm

Description: Campers have an absolute blast meeting new friends and playing several different multiplayer games like Minecraft, Roblox and Crossout! They will also have access to our free Arcade Room and racing simulator motion platform! We’ll take breaks and talk about teamwork, game design and more! What could be more fun than a game fest at Game Warriors!

• Campers collaborate and explore worlds together

(5 DAYS) UNITY3D: MAKE YOUR FIRST GAME!

Dates: Monday, March 17 through Friday March 21

Time: 9am – noon

Description: Campers will dive into the super cool and powerful game development platform known as Unity3D. This is one of the most powerful game development platforms on the planet that over 80% of the top games use! This camp is great for first time users and for those already familiar with Unity3d but want to learn more!

Time: 12:30 – 3:30pm

Description: Discover the incredible realm of Redstone in Minecraft! Our camp provides an engaging experience focused on this dynamic resource. Participants will delve into the basics of Redstone, mastering the art of crafting complex circuits, traps, and automated systems. With the support of our mentors, campers will unlock a world of creativity, allowing them to design and construct innovative Redstone creations they never thought possible. In this camp, campers will grasp the essentials of how Redstone functions within the game. They will learn to build circuits and apply their newfound knowledge to create unique devices and mechanisms. This experience will also enhance their problem-solving abilities as they tackle challenges related to their Redstone projects. Collaboration is key, as campers will work alongside mentors and peers, sharing insights and tips to elevate their creations.
